Proof-and-settlement division
Four layers. No confused authority.
Cryptography can establish what was committed or recorded. It cannot independently establish that an off-chain proposition was true.
MONTREAL.AI
Builds and governs the proof architecture, constitutional boundaries, Chronicle rules, background IP, quality standards and customer relationship.
Token layer
May activate crypto-native validators, operators, collectors and patrons through bounded incentives. It does not own MONTREAL.AI, control GoalOS or define truth.
Blockchain layer
Records commitments, identities, stakes, verdicts, disputes, attestations and settlement within the declared protocol scope.
Responsible authority
The customer or legally competent authority retains final consequential acceptance and may dispute, condition, reject or stop the mission.
Independent validators
Challenge material claims under conflict, competence, evidence and replay rules. Validation is not customer acceptance.
Chronicle
Decides what accepted, attributable, scoped, rights-cleared and revocable capability may influence future missions.
Constitutional separation. Execute ≠ Validate ≠ Accept ≠ Admit ≠ Settle. No role silently inherits the authority of another.

Utility for validation—not ownership or truth.
A pilot may use $AGIALPHA where appropriate, testnet settlement, non-transferable validator credentials, internal accounting points or conventional escrow with on-chain evidence commitments.
The token may support
- payment for validated AGI Jobs;
- validator bonds or stakes;
- rewards for independent verification;
- penalties or withheld rewards for provably defective participation;
- dispute deposits and protocol fees;
- mission or validator tiers;
- integrity-preserving settlement;
- reputation signals linked to completed work.
The token does not provide
- ownership or control of MONTREAL.AI or GoalOS;
- equity, dividends, profit sharing or guaranteed liquidity;
- automatic validator competence or independence;
- truth about an off-chain event;
- customer acceptance or regulated authority;
- permission to bypass contracts, law, privacy or safety boundaries.
Protected capability
Public proof. Private intelligence. Governed invocation.
Only current direct *.agent.agi.eth identities with valid, scoped and revocable entitlements may invoke Chronicle-admitted, root-verifiable private capabilities. The agent receives a governed right to invoke; MONTREAL.AI retains the intelligence.
Private boundary
Prompts, proprietary methods, customer-confidential material and protected execution remain outside the public estate.
Public commitments
Evidence roots, policy proofs, versions, authorization paths, revocations and settlement records may be publicly verifiable.
Fresh successor
Newer is not better by assertion. A later generation must outperform on a fresh mission under equal or tighter constraints.
Project structure
Project participation without diluting the parent.
A separate project entity or contractual venture may receive a narrow, revocable field licence. MONTREAL.AI retains all background IP and constitutional control.
