Claim Boundary and Evidence Status
Claim discipline is part of the product. Architecture, implementation, simulation, external review and empirical authority are distinct states.
Permitted evidence vocabulary
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Specified | Architecture or policy is documented. |
| Implemented | A reference implementation exists in the described environment. |
| Simulated | A deterministic or probabilistic illustration exists; no external authority is implied. |
| Externally reviewed | An identified independent reviewer inspected the stated scope. |
| Empirically demonstrated | Real-task evidence, baselines, artifacts, review and delayed outcomes support the scoped claim. |
Claims requiring stronger evidence
- production safety, legal compliance, cybersecurity certification or regulator approval;
- live settlement, custody, funding approval or executed transactions;
- general recursive self-improvement or unrestricted autonomous operation;
- realized economic capture, investment performance or guaranteed funding;
- universal superiority or legal immunity.
Prohibited shortcuts
Do not state or imply “fully protected,” “regulation-free,” “100% compliant,” “tax-free,” “guaranteed return,” “guaranteed funding,” “code replaces law,” “no one is liable,” or equivalent absolutes.
Claim receipt
Every consequential statement requires scope, exact wording, evidence, status, owner, audience, jurisdiction, date, expiry and approval.
